Magnatec Systems Signs MOU With The University of Management & Technology
Industries particularly services based operate through cooperation to operate such as an MOU between Magnatec Systems Private Limited and University of Management and Technology (UMT). The cooperation between its stakeholders arranges the right labor force when the need arises to keep the industry working. For the IT industry, the stakeholders are universities that generate skilled labor and firms that utilize the skilled labor. During a recent event, Magnatec Systems Private Limited has ensured this as it signs an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the University of Management and Technology (UMT).
The MOU has been signed to increase internship and placement opportunities for students between the two organizations. On behalf of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) Office of Corporate Linkage and Placement (OCLP) has signed the agreement. Dr. Atif Alvi as the head of OCLP represented the university to increase cooperation. On the other hand, Ms. Sameera Israr Managing Director Magnatec Systems Private Limited has represented Magnatec Systems Private Limited to sign the agreement.

- Internship and placement opportunities for students
- Faculty Secondment Program FSP
- Student’s industrial visits
- Mentoring sessions & promoting research
- UMT Cooperative Education Program COOP
All of these are mainly for the purpose of promoting industry growth. It targets for the improvement of studying standards for university students and their training as per industrial standards. To achieve this, both the faculty and the students are trained as per their latest industry practices through secondment programs, student visits, and mentoring sessions.

This formal procedure to sign an MOU with the University of Management and Technology takes place in Roundtable Conference Room at UMT on 8 August 2024. For this, a delegation of high-ranking office bearers from Magnatec Systems Private Limited visited the university. The delegation has included; General Manager Mr. Muhammad Akhtar, Director Development Ms. Huma Mubashar, & Recruitment Manager Ms. Quratulain Babur.
Purpose of the MOU
This attempt to increase cooperation is mainly centered on training the right talent, attracting it, and giving employment to deserving individuals. The company has already employed a huge pool of skilled individuals to provide diverse IT solutions.
